Covers both halves of Catch-Up: the Chrome extension and this phone companion.
Short version: neither half of Catch-Up collects, transmits, or sells any of your data. The extension keeps everything in your own browser's local storage; the phone player stores nothing at all and only ever plays the video IDs it's handed. Neither talks to any server except the video platform whose channels you're following.
The Chrome extension: pick a channel and a daily time, and new uploads since your last check play back-to-back automatically. A separate "I'm free now" action does the same on demand.
The phone companion: an iOS Shortcut checks the same kind of public feed and hands unwatched video IDs to a small player page, which plays them back to back.
None. There is no account, no server, no analytics, no tracking pixel. We — the developer — never receive any information about you, your channels, or your viewing activity, from either half of the product.
Extension — kept in your browser's local extension storage, never synced to us or anyone:

Removing a channel deletes its stored data immediately; uninstalling the extension deletes all of it.
Phone player — stores nothing. The Shortcut that drives it keeps its own small state file in your own iCloud Drive, which we never see.
Both halves fetch only public pages directly from the video platform, the same way your browser would if you visited them yourself — a channel's page HTML (to resolve a pasted URL/handle) and its public RSS video feed (to read recent uploads). No cookies or credentials are attached, and nothing about you is sent along — only the public channel identifier being looked up.
